When you step to the line, rewrites and reinvents the material worked on during Breaking The Backboard with the professional women’s basketball team to integrate it in a personal and solitary way. All these gestures will serve as an alphabet to write a new performance.

In 2020, Frédéric Liver tries to come to grips with the Boléro as choreographed by Maurice Béjart. Fascinated by the image of Duška Sifnios and her performance of Bolero, he imagines learning the whole choreography without having danced in his life.

“I asked Antoine to make a series of tattoos to create the images needed to create a video animation in which a drawing, runs, dances, fights and moves from one skin to another.”

The result is a violent sequence, perhaps clumsy and absurd, both sensitive and human. The image of a personal experience, a collective portrait.

Breaking the backboard : a basketball performance without hoops and balls. Remove the notion of results, of winners and losers and keep the beauty of the game, the fierce energy of the engaged bodies. Because by withdrawing the productive nature of the gesture, it becomes choreographic. Because by removing the effectiveness of an intention, it opens up a field of poetic understanding.

Engraved as an xylographic matrix, this date appears only backwards and interrogates time. What day will follow a day that is written by its end?

The inner garden, the ultimate enclosure, is in a sense the smallest form of "planetary garden", the most fragile and dependent. It is nevertheless designed to endure. A work of the living, it shows us the stakes of life and death.

San Siro 82,955. Portrait dedicated to the eponymous stadium of Milan. Conceived as a collection of paintings, it features his fans rather than the most famous football players.

Everyone loves ghosts, they make the limits of our lives less definitive, they pass through walls, they're still dressed but have no body and... they make "Bouuh!"

Damned or not, ghosts remain a beautiful political symbol.

There is nevertheless a contradiction in the ghostly being, or at least a distinction between the different spectra and ghosts.

There's a scream through space. As announced in the title, this cry calls storm. A cry of rage arises with others, sharing a collective condition of disaffection.
