“Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the game.” — Michael Jordan

2" deep, 2" wide transforms the familiar geometry of a basketball court into an unexpected, indoor experience. Within the limited space of a small gallery, the painted surface of the court doesn’t fit—it bends, climbs, and folds onto the walls, as if the flat image of a playground had been wrapped around a cube. The hoop, suspended from the ceiling, reinforces this sense of disorientation and play.

By transposing an urban, outdoor activity into an intimate white-cube setting, the project questions where play belongs and how movement inhabits space. A basketball lies in the center, inviting the public to shoot, bounce, or simply move—turning the gallery into a temporary playground.

A one-minute video of the artist playing within this folded environment completes the installation, capturing the tension between control and improvisation, art and sport, inside and outside.

The work invites viewers not only to look, but to play—to rediscover the joy of movement and the energy of the game in an unexpected context.
